Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start the session. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible to pay for the full session. If a child arrives late then they should report to the office. If you arrive late to your appointment, your treatment may be shortened in order to accommodate other clients whose appointments follow yours. We recognize that there are circumstances that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.) and your therapist may make an exception to the above policies on those rare occasions. If an emergency situation arises, please let us know so that we can treat your specific situation with personal attention. Unfortunately, we have a growing number of families arriving late at. ![]() Since they do not receive a salary and are only paid per session, a cancellation without enough notice to fill that spot means they lose a significant portion of their income for the day. Thank you to everyone who arrives on time every day at school. Also, our clinicians are self-employed professionals and they only get paid when they deliver a service. When you book an appointment, that time is reserved for you, so missed appointments prevent us from accommodating other clients. If you do not show for an appointment or cancel without sufficient notice, you will be charged the full price of the session. For in-person appointments, there is always the option to switch to virtual or phone if you cannot make it in person. Please note that our cancellation policy requires that you give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, otherwise you will be charged for the full price of the session.
